In-car Wi-Fi: 4G mobile broadband that travels with you from EE

Be online wherever you are with a Subaru in-car 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.

Subaru has partnered with EE and Voice Mobile to provide an in-car 4G mobile broadband service. Allowing any Subaru vehicle to become a Wi-Fi hotspot, the hub package feeds data to any Wi-Fi enabled device.

Passengers young and old can access social media, stream films and music, game online and surf the internet. The compact hub unit can be easily tucked away out of sight.

Portable with a built-in rechargeable (via USB) battery, the hub can also be used away from the vehicle. Up to 10 devices can connect simultaneously.

If you already own a Subaru and would like to add In Car Wi-Fi, contact your nearest dealer and they’ll do the rest.

These results are only a guide and not a guarantee of service availability in a particular location. Coverage may be affected by a number of factors, such building materials, tree cover and weather conditions and how many other people are using the network too. Results are based on computer prediction and are not error free. Double Speed: Speeds based on test data 2015 (up to speeds doubled from 30 Mbps to 60 Mbps). 4G network capacity doubled from 2 x 10 MHz to 2 x 20 MHz. To access 4G, double speed 4GEE or 4G+ speeds, you’ll need coverage, a compatible phone and an eligible plan.

4G+: limited roll out and select areas only. 10% customers in coverage will receive speeds up to 90 mbps. Speeds referred to are download speeds. Just how fast your 4G will be depends on: where you are and how many other people are using 4G too.

4G in more places than any other UK network, and still the fastest: Mobile only. 4G speeds depend on location, number of users and plan. 4G only available on EE plans. Check your coverage at Compatible device required. 4G IN MORE PLACES THAN ANY OTHER UK NETWORK: Based on results from the RootMetrics® UK RootScore® Report: H2 (Jul – Dec 2016). Tested at locations across the UK with the best commercially available smartphones on 4 national mobile networks across all available network types, conducting over 33K randomly sampled test cycles. EE tests carried out using 4GEE Max tariff with uncapped speeds. Your experiences may vary. The RootMetrics award is not an endorsement of EE. Visit for more details.
